THOUGHTS
The argument from WERE to ARE. If God loved us when we were
sinners, He surely loves us now that he has saved us! The discussion of JESUS
is SENSE CONDENSED. We sing the old song... “He is my
everything, He is my all!”
1Pet 3:15 but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts,
I ask that for each of us today! Set Jesus apart in your heart
today. JESUS IS LORD!
Rom 5:8-11 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in
that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more
then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the
wrath of God through Him. 10 For if while we were enemies we were
reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been
reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. 11 And not only this, but we
also exult [glory] in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through
whom we have now received the reconciliation.
The POWER of the words
above is amazing.
We love him because HE first
loved us! 1John
4:19
Through Jesus, God not only
displayed his great love, but he solved all of our problems relating to sin and
eternity!
Gal 6:14 But may it never be that I would boast
[same word as exult above], except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through
which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
Col 3:3-4 For you have died and your
life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be
revealed with Him in glory.
My life wanders... not because I
want it to, but because I forget to set Christ in His right place in my
mind! I must be reminded CONTINUALLY! I must remind myself through
God’s WORD!
My Prayer:
Oh God of heaven and earth, may we
be absorbed by your great love for us in Christ Jesus. Stay our hearts on
you Oh God. You are the only unchangeable thing in our lives!
Remind us continually of your presence. You loved us first Oh Lord, teach
us to love more fully.
In Jesus name
Amen
